Website Migrations & New Expansions To The Website

It’s been a while since this blog has been active, I have been busy working on some other projects of mine. However, bringing insight and valuable information to the engineering community is one of the goals of this blog.

There’s a new YouTube Channel

I created the YouTube Channel. You can expect a variety of topics as I span quite a large range of items covered:

  • Software engineering
  • Homelabbing (coming to this blog as well)
  • Linux Administration/Arch Items (i use arch btw)
  • Magic unicorns ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ – You never know.

Here’s a link to that:

I’m recording episodes on the Expresso Code Podcast

You can find more on the podcast here. However, you can expect all the mentioned from point #1. I will of course be the host of the show, and we will bring on various guests to bring valuable items to you. If you have questions, you can always comment on the episodes.

This blog uses WordPress (why re-invent the wheel?), so I am still figuring out a few items related to how that will work with posting on here as well. However, to make it available, there will be the website, YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, etc. so that it is made available to as many engineers as possible. As the audience develops, we’ll probably begin to niche down or create multiple shows within the podcast so that it is all labeled accordingly.

Blog Finally Moved Hosts

For the longest time we’ve been hosted by DigitalOcean. Due to increase in viewership, the website has been under load and unable to be supported by a small droplet. We have migrated to a new host to support the higher level of traffic.
